The typical British way to enjoy a public holiday is to have a picnic, street party or barbecue. This year’s Diamond Jubilee offers us an extra day off to enjoy the sunshine (fingers crossed). Plans for a music stage, food tasting and “big lunch” bring your own picnic are some of the events happening in my local village alone. I will definitely be wearing Rebel Nails Union Jack designs on fingers and toes. I just know that no-one else will have them and I will earn lots of compliments.
