Always clean nails with an oil free nail varnish remover or alcohol swab. Rebel Nail wraps work over acrylic or false nails too.

Buff the nails so they are smooth and ridge free. Am emery board with a grit (roughness) rating of over 250 is good - anything less will be too harsh on the nails.  This really prevents creasing and lifting at the edges. They don’t have to be shiny as a slightly rougher surface helps with sticking.

Pushing back cuticles gives nails more length and a nicer shape to show off your Rebel Nails design.

When applying your nail wrap, place along one edge of the nail and gently “wrap” over to the other edge. This allows you to trim to the correct size at the same time.

Use a hoof stick with a soft rubber edge to rub down along the edges to help stick down the wraps

Try not to touch the sticky side of the wrap as it lessens the adhesive effect, touching the tip is fine as that part will be discarded.

Use the nail wrap guides to size the correct nail wrap, for a professional finish choose one slightly larger if necessary and trim to fit.

Avoid oily creams (and the washing up) on the day you have applied the wraps.

When filing off the excess wrap, use a 45 degree downward stroke, avoiding the top of the nail. This gives a better edge which is less likely to lift or shrink.

After a warm bath or shower, wraps can be vulnerable as the heat lifts the adhesive. So gently rub the nail wraps down and allow nails to cool.

Most importantly don’t wait for your nails to grow to enjoy the wonderful designs, if you have short nails, no one will be looking at their length, just how awesome they look with your chosen design!
