This 2-in-1 Purifying Cleanser Saved Us Double Cleaning!
Double cleansing, which involves washing your face twice, is the best way to get a flawless canvas for pre-skincare. Enter Slurp Laboratories gel for $49, a Korean facial cleanser. It promises to remove all makeup, clean pores, and eliminate dirt in one step. We were inspired by the product description and offered our services to test this one-step Cleanser. It claims to remove all makeup in one step. This could be the end of double cleansing.
What is it? It’s a double-purpose cleanser that removes dirt, oil-based impurities, and environmental pollution in one step without stripping away water.
The formula is A thick, gel-like consistency that melts in water.
What it does Cleanses impurities with six surfactants, fatty acid esters, and purifying minerals such as French Auvergne Clay and Malachite gemstone, absorb toxic substances. Canadian Sulfur and Dead Sea salt loosen skin cells, while Polynesian Blue Lagoon Water purifies and nourishes skin with silica and magnesium.
What it does: The Cleanser acts in three ways. It uses oils to remove dirt and makeup and surfactants that can be used to purify the skin. Finally, it rinses off with moisturizing water. It removes ALL traces of makeup and dirt without drying the skin.

Our thoughts on the Double Cleanser
We loved he came through! This gel formula removes makeup, dirt, and sunscreen without tightening your skin. This is heavy-duty cleaning. However, DW’s gentle surfactants, which are naturally derived, do not harm your skin barrier.
The $49 price tag is ridiculous, considering the bottle size. We’ve used it for months and are still using about a third. It’s at least twice the amount of Cleanser you would get from a regular cleanser.
In action: We use it to remove makeup at night. To do this, we apply two pumps to dry hands. Then, we add water to make it foam for a minute and rinse it. This eliminates the need for a double cleanse, especially if you’re wearing sunscreen and light makeup. Even though it dissolves heavy makeup, we still use a water-based wash to clean our skin.
What we didn’t like: The formula is excellent for everything, but it does struggle with waterproof mascara.
